I got my first Influenster box! I cannot be happier! I've been trying the stuff that I got for the last week, and I must say...I am impressed. Pretty much every single item I hadn't try in the past, so I got to experiment with a bunch of new goodies and see how they work!
So...the first thing that I tried was the nail polish
I got the blue one, named "French Kiss" from Pure Ice.
The color on the bottle does not look as dark as it looks on the nail. It comes out as a pretty navy blue hue. As I always do, I tried this nail polish without a base coat or a top coat. It went smoothly over my nails, no issues with the applicator. The first coat is not too dark, i could see my natural nail through it, so I applied a second coat and it gave me that nice dark navy blue tone. I really put it to the test that day: I had to hand wash some delicate clothes, and it did not budge, actually it did not chipped for two days, and that is really good for me (since I wear nitrile gloves for work every day). It lasted for about 4-5 days, before my nails looked like a hot mess. I need to try it with a top coat next and see if I can get a full week out of it. Not bad for a nail polish that costs $1.97 at Walmart!

$3.99 To start, I'll say a disclaimer...I am a contact lens wearer...I use my contacts 15 hours out of the day, 5 days a week, and on the weekends, I try to wear my regular glasses, unless I have to do something. My eyes are very sensitive and my lids are extra oily, so I have to use a primer, even if I do not use eye shadow, to keep them at bay. So I tried this eyeliner with my Nars eye shadow primer, and it did last a long time, but I do not know how long it will last with a different primer or by itself. It is smooth, though. The only thing is that I cannot use it on my waterline, it transfers to my contacts :-(Now, the Kiss Strip lash adhesive with aloe and the Kiss true volume "Natural Plump" eyelashes

$3.99 I am a huge fan of the Kiss eyelashes in general, and was running out of my fav lash adhesive...so I tried this new one. What I like about the adhesive is that is black and sticks good, and does not have latex or formaldehyde. I do not wear fake eyelashes very often or for a very long time, so I cannot really speak of the effectiveness of it, but I'll say that it didn't bother my eyes, which is a plus on my book.Now, I have never tried Cetaphil before, but, Oh, Boy, Oh Boy! I am using it on my elbows, and they are not as dry as before...so I might have to but the full size! I love what is doing for my dry skin! I wonder if it will work on my feet???
